Cabling and Camera Installation Specialist
Compensation: $25 - $35 an hour based on experience

Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Experience: 1+ years (Preferred)
We are a leader in cabling and infrastructure technologies. Seeking experienced Low-Voltage Data Cabling Technicians to join our team in the Waukesha / Milwaukee area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of pathways and cabling.
- Analyze blueprints effectively.
- Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate which equipment, tools, procedures, and training will be needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
- Opportunity to lead.
- Enforce a safe jobsite and maintain compliance with company safety standards.
- Installation and termination of peripheral devices.
- Programming and testing of the system.
- Customer training of the appropriate systems.
- Maintenance and support, service calls of the installed systems.
- Travel to various locations to replace/troubleshoot hardware/equipment.
- Monitor progress of work, delivery, and implementation.
- Accurately complete required paperwork.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills - verbal, written and listening.
- Solid attention to detail with good follow-through.
- Ability to read and understand floor plans.
- Ability to work in team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance.
Physical Requirements:
- Bend, lift and carry equipment on a regular basis.
- Bend, lift, twist, turn, and crawl into tight spaces to install devices and equipment.
- Ability to terminate cable according to color codes.
- Ability to frequently climb up/down ladder (minimum 6’) and perform extended overhead cabling/wiring from ladder.
- Ability to grip, push, pull feed cable (up to 1200 pair) vertically into closets, horizontally in cable trays and between walls, ceilings, and floors.
- Ability to drive to job sites, to frequently get in/out of vehicle and to load/unload tools and material supplies.
