Thomas Rosecky Acquires Art Flater's Ownership Interest in Central Office Systems Co-Owner and Vice President of Sales & Marketing Art Flater to Retire August 13th
Waukesha, Wisconsin – [August 13, 2025] – Technology services provider Central Office Systems Corp. today announced that Thomas Rosecky has acquired the ownership portion held by Art Flater, marking a significant transition in the company's leadership structure. Thomas Rosecky, Director of Operations, will assume co-ownership of Central Office Systems alongside his father, Chris Rosecky, who has served as President and Principal since 2010. The acquisition coincides with Flater's planned retirement from his role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, effective August 13, 2025.
Concluding a distinguished 18 years with Central Office Systems, Flater played an instrumental role in the rapid growth and expansion of Central Office System’s copier division, sold to James Imaging in 2021. Art further contributed to the rise of Central Office System’s current IT Managed Service business, involved in the acquisition of three IT services businesses during his tenure.
A Partnership Built on Trust and Excellence
Chris Rosecky, President and Principal of Central Office Systems since 2010, reflected on the longstanding partnership with Art Flater. "Art has been more than a business partner over these 18 years – he's been a trusted friend and an integral part of our business," said Chris Rosecky. "His dedication, and commitment to our clients has been foundational to Central Office Systems' success. While we'll miss his daily presence, we're grateful for the strong foundation he's helped us build and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement."
Company Continuity and New Leadership
With this ownership transition, Thomas Rosecky joins his father Chris as co-owner, making Central Office Systems a family-owned business committed to maintaining the high-quality level of service and expertise that clients have come to expect.
Thomas joined Central Office Systems in April 2024 as Director of Operations, bringing valuable experience from management consulting roles at Highspring Consulting (formerly MorganFranklin) and Baker Tilly, where he led a variety of technology implementation and strategy initiatives. A graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Thomas quickly demonstrated his commitment to operational excellence and the strategic growth of Central Office Systems.
"This transition represents an exciting new chapter for Central Office Systems," said Chris Rosecky. "Building on the improvements Thomas has brought to our delivery model over the past 16 months, we are well-positioned to continue our growth trajectory. We will continue to introduce IT support, and cyber-security solutions tailored toward small and medium sized business and non-profit organizations."
“My investment underscores the confidence I have in our team and the commitment I feel to our clients. I am excited to continue to build upon our high-quality service delivery model and create new opportunities for both our clients and staff,” said Thomas Rosecky.
