When your company has a breach, will everyone call you reckless, careless, or just stupid?Happy Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

I am never really sure who makes up these months. Like National Ice Cream Appreciation Month, or National Clean Your Toilet Day, but it is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month and that means I we all need to celebrate it I guess.

So:

Cybersecurity is not just a buzzword, but a crucial part of your business strategy. I know what you’re thinking: “Here comes another lecture about passwords and firewalls.” But bear with me, there is an important point coming.

Cybersecurity is like a fire drill. You wouldn’t ignore the fire alarm and just hope the flames don’t find you, right? Yet, many businesses do just that with their cybersecurity. They pretend not to hear the alarm hoping that cyber threats will just pass them by. Here's  my spoiler alert:

They won’t.

Now, I get it. Cybersecurity can seem daunting, like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube while blindfolded. But that’s where Central Office Systems comes in. As your trusted Managed Service Provider, we’re here to take the blindfold off and guide you through the maze of cyber threats. Think of us as your cybersecurity GPS, rerouting you away from danger and towards safety.

Let’s face it, cybercriminals are persistent, and always looking for their next target. You need a comprehensive strategy to keep them at bay.

Hoping for the best is not a strategy. Saying "it will not happen to me" is also not a strategy. Pretending that cyber threats are someone else’s problem is careless, reckless, AND stupid.

It is the trifecta of business neglect.

Cybersecurity isn’t just about protecting your data; it’s about protecting your business, your reputation, and your sleep. And with Central Office Systems in your corner, you avoid careless, reckless, and stupid.

Want to know more? Call me. 262 436 9230- I know a guy.

Every post we do here at Central Office Systems has to have some kind of picture. So I found this picture of the cute dog, and added it.

Better then putting my picture here or our logo, which were the other options.

Happy Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
