Great Impressions Printing Press Release
Great Impressions Printing Advances their Quality, Service Delivery, and Capabilities with the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060
May 1, 2017
Great Impressions Printing is an independent, award winning Milwaukee based printing company owned by Carolyn Walkers. In their recent expansion Great Impressions added a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060 with envelope feeder and high capacity finishing. Great Impressions provides a range of services as wide as its customer base. They cater for businesses of all sizes and descriptions, and specialize in flyers, programs and marketing collateral. They produce brochures, calendars, catalogues, greeting cards, and branded display and promotional items– to name a few of their products.
A little over a month ago, Great Impressions acquired a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060 from Central Office Systems. In this blog, we take a look at how one solution from Konica Minolta and Central Office Systems was able to improve their business.
According to Great Impressions’ Carolyn Walker, Great Impressions had a number of issues that they wanted to solve when they decided to switch to the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060. They wanted to increase productivity. They wanted to improve quality. They wanted heavier stock capability ad better front to back registration. They also wanted more consistent outputs for their customers.
Carolyn says that the machine they used before the AccurioPress C2060 was okay but had problems with registration and it couldn’t handle the required number of stock weights. She chose the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060 specifically for the capability of the whole production run doing the booklet finishing and everything in it at the same time. And the fact that it does 350gsm, double-sided. Envelope printing is a bonus capability.
Great Impressions was also pleased with the switchover in service suppliers to Central Office Systems. Their previous Konica Minolta supplier had declined in support as their old digital press aged, and prices for service moved up startlingly. Central Office Systems was able to help them continue to run the older digital press for less complex applications.
Thanks to the AccurioPress C2060’s remarkable finishing options, multiple tasks in a job can be executed within a single print run. The new systemallows Great Impressions to perform saddle stitching, single and dual stapling, as well as two- or three-hole punching without having to stop and start the machine. This saves time, resources like electricity and labor, and, at the end of the day, it also saves their business from incurring significant running costs.
If your business, like Great Impressions Printing, is looking to speed up operations, and deliver a wider range of high-quality products to your customers while protecting your bottom line, you should consider Central Office Systems and the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2060.
